As we go through life we are expected to become more independent. We reach a time where we have to start making our own meals, pay bills (lol that rhymed) and ultimately become self-reliant. But lets be honest, not everyone has the ability to be independent or rather the mindset to take the step into independence. Below I have listed a few reasons why you should try to become more of an independent women.
Independence promotes happiness. Emotional independence improves your relations with the people around you. It helps you to interact with them better as you become more in control of your emotions. It will ultimately bring out the best in you leading to a happier YOU.
Need a confidence boost? The fact that you're more likely to take matters into your own hands without having to wait for others means you will be more likely to try out new things. You will eventually start taking bigger risks leading to bigger rewards. Go youuuu!
It decreases the the load of others. If you're capable of meeting your own needs, the pressure you put on others will lessen. Friends, family and colleagues will eventually begin to notice and possibly trust you enough to seek your assistance *taps head like the roll safe meme*
The rewards are better! Yes, you heard it here first. If your goal is to become independent in some way then you will get a sense of accomplishment when you do so. Financial independence is a goal for many of us, right? Whats better than not having to answer to anybody, being debt free and in control. Emotional independence can also bring you less disappointment. I'll take one of those, thanks.
Remember ladies, learning how to support yourself is necessary for any success you ever hope to achieve. Hopefully we can all become so comfortable in ourselves that we take the right steps to take charge of our lives and do whats best for us.
